Research on the Innovative Application and Development of AIGC Technology in Modern Visual Communication Design

With the rapid iteration of artificial intelligence technology, Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) has gradually become an important innovative tool in the field of modern visual communication design. Traditional visual communication design is restricted by manual creation efficiency, creative thinking limitations and time cost, which makes it difficult to adapt to the diversified, personalized and high-efficiency design needs of the digital era. AIGC technology relying on deep learning algorithm, big data training and intelligent generation capability, can realize rapid creation of posters, logos, packaging visuals and other design works, effectively optimize the design process and enrich creative expression forms. This paper systematically analyzes the technical characteristics of AIGC and the integration value with visual communication design, summarizes the current application status of AIGC in design creativity, scheme generation, effect optimization and post-production modification. It also discusses the existing problems in the integration process, including single design style, excessive technical dependence, unclear copyright attribution and insufficient humanistic connotation of AI works. On this basis, targeted optimization strategies are proposed from the aspects of human-machine collaborative creation, standardized industry specification construction, designer ability upgrading and copyright system improvement. The research results aim to provide practical reference for the innovative development of visual communication design industry under the background of artificial intelligence, and promote the healthy and sustainable integration of AIGC technology and design industry.
